Life Lessons from St. Katharine Drexel
with Jim Markan, M.A.

Mother Katharine Drexel, Foundress of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, was the second canonized saint to be born in the United States.  Her courage and initiative in addressing social inequality issues and promoting quality education for all, years before they aroused public interest in the United States, are key parts of her legacy.  We will explore several life lessons that we can all learn from this beacon of selfless service.  Time will be allocated for group discussions and personal reflection.
