This week of retreat will allow you the opportunity to choose whether to do a private or directed retreat. Please specify which one you intend to do when making your reservation. Retreat week begins with dinner at 5:30PM and concludes with breakfast the following Sunday.

Heart Speaks to Heart
Biblical Women in Conversation

This retreat invites us into the stories and experiences of biblical women pairs. The morning sessions will bring these women to life and provide guided questions to help us pray with them. The afternoon sessions will invite time for shared prayer and reflections on these women and how their stories impact our own stories today.
Presenters will be available for individual spiritual conversation throughout the retreat journey.

By examining “some things” in Paul’s writings, we will discover his personal struggles, mistakes and growth as a disciple of the Risen Lord. With the aid of visuals and music, we will associate his faith journey with our own and thus befriend him as a fellow pilgrim.

5-day Silent Retreat

An intensive Centering Prayer retreat intended for those who have incorporated this practice into their daily lives for at least six months. This retreat will include regular sits throughout each day, along with time for Lectio Divina, solitude, silence and interior refreshment.

This retreat will offer the opportunity to choose between a private or directed retreat. Those who wish will be introduced to the principles of Ignatian Prayer and engaged in meditation / contemplation from the Spiritual Exercises. There will be time for personal reflection as well as one-on-one meetings with the directors.

AUGUST 17 – 24, 2019
The Power of Forgiveness

Carol Marozzi, SSJ

This retreat will explore the psychological, physical and religious effects of forgiveness on individuals and within relationships. Forgiveness has a real potential for personal and spiritual transformation. It is the central virtue in many of the world’s great religions. We will examine the role that forgiveness can play in alleviating anger and grief and the physical, mental and spiritual benefits that come with forgiveness. We will look at the teachings of Jesus as well as people like Thich Nhat Hanh, Elie Wiesel, and Thomas Moore, who have taught us the benefits of forgiveness as well as the hidden costs of unforgiveness.
